Melinda Shaw is the Director of the UDairy Creamery and was hired to open the Creamery’s Newark storefront in December 2010. Since its opening, she has lead expansions of the Creamery including the Moo Mobile, Go Baby Go Café, UDairy Creamery Market in Wilmington and the current UDairy processing plant project.
Shaw also teaches a winter session course on “The Science of Ice Cream.” In 2014, Melinda was honored by the White House as a Champion of Change for the Future of Agriculture and also featured on the Food Network’s Eating America.
Prior to UD, Melinda graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. in Hospitality Management and managed food operations with Villanova University and the Philadelphia Phillies.
