+ Associate Director, Annual Giving – Marketing and Operations »

The Associate Director, Annual Giving – Marketing and Operations will sustain current and create new strategies to influence the team’s overall success resulting in $10 million in cash gifts annually from over 25,000 donors during the campaign. The Associate Director exercises autonomy in researching, evaluating, developing and executing activities and has budgetary authority over program area. Learn more and apply here.

+ Senior Associate Director, Annual Giving Programs »

The Senior Associate Director of Annual Giving Programs will expand upon existing programs and create new opportunities for ongoing financial support from diverse audiences of the University of Delaware. This individual will develop complex program concepts and strategies to acquire, retain and reacquire these audiences as donors. These efforts will result in a deeper understanding of the institution's priorities and its strategic initiatives while garnering long-term commitments to support UD’s mission of teaching, research and public service. The Associate Director establishes, manages and implements projects to consistently and effectively communicate donor and alumni engagement, cultivation and stewardship messaging through a variety of vehicles with a primary goal of increasing donor giving and alumni engagement at the University of Delaware. The Associate Director works independently and has high-level interaction with the President, senior administration, donors and alumni. Learn more and apply here.

+ Assistant Vice President, Strategic Initiatives »

The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Strategic Initiatives will lead and oversee the development activities for key interdisciplinary initiatives at the University of Delaware. The AVP will oversee fundraising for the Biopharmaceutical Initiative, Graduate programs, the Biden Institute and other interdisciplinary initiatives as determined by the President and Provost. Reporting to the Senior Associate Vice President of Development, the AVP is responsible for the establishment of fundraising goals for these programs and achievement of these goals. The AVP will build a team of major gift officers to lead the development activities related to these key priorities. The AVP will demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities, have an open, creative problem-solving approach, and strong orientation toward teams with an understanding of using metrics to motivate and track good work and program progress. The AVP must have expertise in strategic talent management and possess successful leadership experience in a campaign setting. Learn more and apply here.

+ Director, Corporate and Foundation Relations »

The Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations will work to establish new partnerships and strengthen existing relationships within the corporate and foundation sector that will result in funding for the immediate and long-term goals of the University. He/she will provide the expertise to advance the University’s interests by identifying sources of support and communicating those to potential funders by working closely with deans, faculty and staff to develop an extensive knowledge-base in the areas of academic research and programs.
