The Administrative Assistant provides high-level administrative support for the Director and (6) Associate/Assistant Directors of Leadership Annual Giving. This position coordinates the implementation and compliance with internal and external administrative policies and procedures in addition to prioritizing and resolving administrative problems for the area. + Assistant Director, Alumni Relations »

We are seeking a candidate for an Assistant Director for our Regional and Affinity Programs and a member of the team responsible for supporting the University’s network of more than 175,000 alumni worldwide. The Assistant Director will focus on 3 main priorities: 1) completing discovery visits with alumni; 2) volunteer management; and 3) plan and implement programs to engage alumni in assigned regions. This position serves as the primary liaison between the Office of Development and Alumni Relations and the Regional Alumni Clubs. Learn more and apply here.

The Senior Director of Development, College of Engineering reports to the Assistant Vice President, Colleges and Programs and is accountable to the Dean of the College of Engineering for the establishment of fundraising goals for the College as well as accomplishing these goals. + Systems Administrator (Security Analyst) »

This position requires expert knowledge of a variety of computer languages, operating systems, and platforms to provide needed services to DAR in order for the unit to achieve its goals. The Advance system functions as the database of record for constituent information, which runs on an Oracle platform. The University has adopted the web-based interface and uses IBM Cognos as its primary reporting tool. The Systems Administrator will supervise the Computing Support Specialist I position, which is responsible for all layer 2 desktop support issues, and supervises the management of DAR’s student-run help desk. + Senior Associate Director, Parent & Family Giving »

Under the limited direction of the Director of Development, Parent and Family Giving (PFG), the Senior Associate Director is responsible for soliciting parent prospects for major gifts. This newly created position is a front-line gift officer position focused on identifying, cultivation, soliciting and stewarding major gifts from current and past parents of UD students. The incumbent will play a key role in soliciting and closing significant gift commitments. Learn more and apply here.

+ Assistant/Associate Director, Leadership Annual Giving »

Under the general direction of the Director of Leadership Annual Giving, the position of Assistant / Associate Director of Leadership Annual Giving is responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating and soliciting gifts at the leadership level of giving, $1,000 and up (Delaware Diamonds Society) primarily acquiring new donors. The Assistant / Associate Director maintains an active and ongoing schedule of 12-15 face-to-face meetings per month with alumni and is responsible for garnering financial support from alumni celebrating landmark reunion years at UD. Under the general direction of the Director of Prospect Management, Research and Analysis, the Senior Development Research Analyst conducts detailed research using on-line databases, internet resources and internal databases to analyze, interpret and disseminate financial, biographical and historical information on existing and prospective donors to the University. Under the limited direction of the Associate Vice President for Development, the Director of Prospect Management and Research is responsible for providing leadership and strategic planning for the University’s donor prospect research efforts with particular emphasis on support for major gift efforts and campaign initiatives. The Director will lead the team that supports the University’s annual goals by developing and enhancing a comprehensive prospect management system to coordinate and maximize donor interests. The Director will also lead efforts in conducting research and analyzing data, utilizing publicly available information sources as well as data provided internally to prepare written biographical and financial prospect profiles on individuals, corporations and foundations.
