+ Associate Director, Alumni Engagement - Career and Professional Development »

The Associate Director of Alumni Engagement creates and executes a comprehensive and innovative suite of services to include career coaching, networking and mentoring opportunities. This individual will construct, implement, and manage a fully integrated collection of lifelong professional development programs, services, events and resources including an online networking platform. The Associate Director will be responsible for recruiting and managing volunteers and the execution of engagement and fundraising strategies related to increasing alumni participation and engagement. + Senior Director of Development, Regional Programs »

In this new position, the Senior Director will work closely with college-based directors of development and will lead fundraising and engagement activity in the western region of the United States. Primary responsibilities will include effective and comprehensive strategic planning and development in addition to prospect and donor relationship management including field qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship. The Senior Director will help lay the foundation for our Delaware First campaign by building and executing a pipeline of prospects regionally.Learn more and apply here.

The Senior Director of Development works in partnership with the Dean in securing individual major gifts of $100,000 in support of the College’s strategic goals and will manage a team of three (two major gift officers and an administrative assistant). + Assistant Director, Donor Relations - College of Health Sciences »

Under the general direction of the Dean of the College of Health Sciences, and with a dual reporting role to the Director of Development for the College of Health Sciences (CHS), the Assistant Director is responsible as the Dean’s point person for Development-related activities and supporting the engagement and stewardship of CHS alumni and donors. The Assistant Director will also work in partnership with Communications and Constituent Relations (CCR) in the Office of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR). Learn more and apply here.

This newly created role manages the strategy and execution of a full quinquennial Reunion Program, including the recruitment and leadership of eleven volunteer committees. The Associate Director is also responsible for managing alumni affinity programs and engaging these audiences through on-campus events such as Alumni Weekend and Homecoming. The Associate Director exercises autonomy in researching, evaluating, developing, and executing activities designed to engage and identify annual giving and Delaware Diamonds Society level prospects and donors.Learn more and apply here.

+ Associate Director, Digital Communications »

This exciting new role within DAR will lead a comprehensive digital marketing strategy by conceptualizing, guiding, executing and analyzing various projects in support of the campaign and organizational priorities. The Associate Director will evaluate and recommend a comprehensive plan for blast emails, website presence, social media marketing and more. This position will work collaboratively with all areas of DAR in addition to the Office of Communications and Marketing at the University of Delaware. This position supports the overall efforts of DAR Communications, but is primarily responsible for those priorities related to digital communications and marketing. Learn more and apply here.

Under the direct direction of the Associate Director for Engagement Communications, the Communications Specialist is responsible for producing communication pieces for both internal and external audiences to support development and alumni relations strategies through a variety of vehicles with a primary goal of increasing donor giving and alumni engagement at UD. Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Development, Regional Giving, the position of Assistant Director of Leadership Annual Giving is responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating and soliciting gifts at the leadership level of giving, $1,000 and up (Delaware Diamonds Society), primarily acquiring new donors. The Assistant Director maintains an active and ongoing schedule of 12-15 face-to-face meetings per month with alumni. Learn more and apply here.

The Associate Director, Annual Giving – Marketing and Operations will sustain current and create new strategies to influence the team’s overall success resulting in $10 million in cash gifts annually from over 25,000 donors during the campaign. The Associate Director establishes, manages and implements projects to consistently and effectively communicate donor and alumni engagement, cultivation and stewardship messaging through a variety of vehicles with a primary goal of increasing donor giving and alumni engagement at the University of Delaware. Serving as the College of Engineering’s lead principal and major gift officer, the Senior Director of Development works in partnership with the Dean in securing individual major gifts in support of the College’s strategic plan and manages a team of four (two major gift officers, an assistant director of donor relations, and an administrative assistant). In support of the bold presidential vision, in which the College of Engineering will play a crucial role, the College is preparing to embark on an ambitious, multiyear strategic growth plan that will transform its education, research and entrepreneurship landscape. DAR is currently seeking an ambitious, energetic leader for the role of Director who will serve as the primary administrator of UD’s gift planning program.in the Office of Gift Planning (OGP), a department within DAR. The Director has oversight for the management, planning and implementation of the strategy for all marketing efforts and is responsible for the development and execution of a successful stewardship strategy in support of the more than $100 million in promised gifts to UD. The Director acts as the liaison with internal and external contacts to ensure the smooth, timely, and accurate administration of the gift planning program.
