How can I get the movies to play?

If the first frame of the movie appears on screen but the movie does not autostart, right-click the movie (Macintosh users do a control-click), and when the menu pops out, click Play. When the movie plays, if you do not see a picture, go to the QuickTime site, and install the latest version of QuickTime for your brand of computer. This download is free. Note, however, that if you are working on a corporate PC, you need to make sure it is OK for you to download this update. For security reasons, some corporations require that employees ask their Help Center first before downloading files to their computer.

How can I configure my browser to send mail?

If you have Netscape, pull down the menus and look for the option called Preferences. It is probably on your Edit menu or your Tools menu. The preferences have moved around in different versions of Netscape, but you will find them on one of the menus. Click to edit your preferences, then choose mail and news. Enter your incoming and outgoing mail server names. If you are not sure what these names are, ask your Help Center or your local server administrator.

If you have Internet Explorer, select the Mail icon to drop the menu down, and click Read Mail. You may get a dialog box asking you to select a folder for your mail; select the Inbox folder, unless you want your mail kept somewhere else. Since you have not set up Internet Explorer for mail, the Internet Connection Wizard will launch. Answer the questions that theWizard asks you. If you do not know the answer, such as the name of your incoming or outgoing mail server, ask your Help Center or your local server administrator.
