Subject: Winter and Spring 2021 Educational Technology Course Scheduling Advice

Greetings to all ed tech graduate students at the University of Delaware!

I am writing to provide you with course scheduling advice for the
upcoming Winter session and Spring semester of 2021. As always, you
should check with your advisor each semester to confirm that your
course selection is in line with your particular program. This course
advisory contains sections for master’s and doctoral students,
respectively.

           ===Courses for M.Ed. Students===

From the ed tech specialty, all M.Ed. students may take the
following course that is being offered in the Winter of 2021:

     EDUC 639 Teaching with Technology

Also in the Winter of 2021, EDTC candidates can take the following
course as one of your ed tech electives:

     EDUC 818 Educational Technology Foundations

From the ed tech specialty, all M.Ed. students must take the following
courses that are being offered in the Spring of 2021:

     EDUC 621 Internet Technologies
     EDUC 685 Multimedia Literacy

The following ed tech elective is being taught in Spring 2021:

     EDUC 692 Ed Tech Capstone (you work on your portfolio)

The next offering of the required course EDUC 650, Technology and
Cognition, will be in Summer 2021.

           ===Courses for Ed.D. Students===

All Ed.D. students are required to take the following core
course that is being offered in the Winter of 2021:

     EDUC 818 Educational Technology Foundations

With permission from your academic advisor, doctoral students may elect
the courses listed above in the section for master's candidates.

In the meantime, I hope you will all pass your final exams and
