Subject: Winter and Spring 2019 Educational Technology Course Scheduling Advice

Greetings to all ed tech graduate students at the University of Delaware!

I am writing to provide you with course scheduling advice for the
upcoming Winter session and Spring semester of 2019. As always, you
should check with your advisor each semester to confirm that your
course selection is in line with your particular program. This course
advisory contains sections for master’s and doctoral students,
respectively.

           ===Courses for M.Ed. Students===

From the ed tech specialty, all M.Ed. students must take the following
course that is being offered in the Winter of 2019:

     EDUC 638 Learning Technologies Across the Curricula

In the Winter of 2019, EDTC candidates can take the following course
as one of your ed tech electives:

     EDUC 818 Educational Technology Foundations

From the ed tech specialty, all M.Ed. students must take the following
courses that are being offered in the Spring of 2019:

     EDUC 621 Internet Technologies
     EDUC 685 Multimedia Literacy

In the Spring of 2019, EDTC candidates are encouraged to take the following
course as one of your ed tech electives:

     EDUC 639 Ed Tech Topics: G Suite

The required course EDUC 650, Technology & Cognition, will be
offered in Summer 2019. The next offering of EDUC 692, Ed Tech Capstone,
will be in Spring 2020. If you must have it sooner, please contact me
by sending me email to fth@udel.edu.

           ===Courses for Ed.D. Students===

All Ed.D. students are required to take the following core
course that is being offered in the Winter of 2019:

     EDUC 818 Educational Technology Foundations

With permission from your academic advisor, doctoral students may elect
the courses listed above in the section for master's candidates.

In the meantime, I hope you will all pass your final exams and
projects with flying colors and then enjoy a pleasant holiday season.
