Subject: Winter and Spring 2017 Educational Technology Course Scheduling Advice

Greetings to all ed tech graduate students at the University of Delaware!

I am writing to provide you with course scheduling advice for the
upcoming Winter session and Spring semester of 2017. As always, you
should check with your advisor each semester to confirm that your
course selection is in line with your particular program. This course
advisory contains sections for master’s and doctoral students,
respectively.

           ===Courses for M.Ed. Students===

From the ed tech specialty, all M.Ed. students must take the following
course that is being offered in the Winter of 2017:

     EDUC 638 Learning Technologies Across the Curricula

In the Winter of 2017, the following ed tech elective is being offered:

    EDUC 639 ePortfolio Web Design

From the ed tech specialty, all M.Ed. students must take the following
courses that are being offered in the Spring of 2017:

     EDUC 621 Internet Technologies
     EDUC 685 Multimedia Literacy
     EDUC 692 Educational Technology Capstone

In lieu of the required course EDUC 650, Technology & Cognition,
educational technology candidates may take the following substitute
that is being offered in the Spring of 2017:

     EDUC 815 Design of Learning Environments

           ===Courses for Ed.D. Students===

All Ed.D. students are required to take the following core
course that is being offered in the Winter of 2017:

     EDUC 818 Educational Technology Foundations

With permission from your academic advisor, doctoral students may elect
the courses listed above in the section for master's candidates.

In the meantime, I hope you will all pass your final exams and
projects with flying colors and then enjoy a pleasant holiday season.
