Subject: Summer & Fall 2025 Educational Technology Course Scheduling Advice
Greetings to all ed tech graduate students at the University of Delaware!
I am writing to provide you with course scheduling advice for the upcoming
Summer session and Fall semester of 2025. As always, you should check with
your advisor each semester to confirm that your course selection is in
line with your particular program.
All EDTC Masters candidates are required to take the following courses:
EDUC 611 Introduction to Educational Technology
EDUC 638 Learning Technologies
EDUC 685 Multimedia Literacy
All three of these courses are being taught in Fall 2025.
Also in the Fall of 2025, the following electives are being offered:
EDUC 656 eLearning
EDUC 657 Educational Games
In the first Summer Session of 2025, the following courses count as ed tech
electives for EDTC degree candidates:
EDUC 639-192 Digital Assessment Strategies
EDUC 639-194 Societal Implications of AI
In the second Summer Session of 2025, the following courses are ed tech
requirements:
EDUC 621 Internet Technologies
EDUC 685 Multimedia Literacy
Doctoral students who wish to elect one of the courses listed above should
obtain written permission to do so (such as via email exchange) from your
academic advisor prior to enrolling.
Masters candidates who need to take a course in Fall 2025 that is not listed
above should consult with their academic advisor for a substitute.
In the meantime, I hope you will all pass your final exams and projects with
flying colors and then enjoy a safe and pleasant summer.
All the best,
Fred
