Subject: Summer & Fall 2022 Educational Technology Course Scheduling Advice

Greetings to all ed tech graduate students at the University of Delaware!

I am writing to provide you with course scheduling advice for the upcoming
Summer session and Fall semester of 2022. As always, you should check with
your advisor each semester to confirm that your course selection is in
line with your particular program.

All EDTC Masters candidates are required to take the following courses:

EDUC 611 Introduction to Educational Technology
    EDUC 638 Learning Technologies
    EDUC 685 Multimedia Literacy
    EDUC 656 eLearning

All four of these courses are being taught in Fall 2022, and EDUC 685 is also
being offered in Summer 2022.

Also in the Summer of 2022, the following ed tech special topic courses are
being offered; these count as ed tech electives for EDTC degree candidates:

    EDUC 639-011 Teaching Computer Science
    EDUC 639-194 Google Workplace

CS-Ed Certificate candidates must enroll in EDUC 639-011.

Doctoral students who wish to elect one of the courses listed above should
obtain written permission to do so (such as via email exchange) from your
academic advisor prior to enrolling.

Masters candidates who need to take a course in Fall 2022 that is not listed
above should consult with their academic advisor for a substitute.

In the meantime, I hope you will all pass your final exams and projects with
flying colors and then enjoy a safe and pleasant summer.

All the best,
Fred
