Subject: Summer & Fall 2021 Educational Technology Course Scheduling Advice

Greetings to all ed tech graduate students at the University of Delaware!

I am writing to provide you with course scheduling advice for the upcoming
Summer session and Fall semester of 2021. As always, you should check with
your advisor each semester to confirm that your course selection is in
line with your particular program.

All EDTC Masters candidates are required to take the following courses:

EDUC 611 Introduction to Educational Technology
    EDUC 638 Learning Technologies
    EDUC 685 Multimedia Literacy
    EDUC 656 eLearning

All four of these courses are being taught in Fall 2021, and EDUC 685 is also
being offered in Summer 2021.

Also in the Summer of 2021, the following ed tech core course is being
offered; if you are an EDTC degree candidate who has not yet taken this
required course, you should enroll in it for Summer 2021 as follows:

    EDUC 650 Technology & Cognition

Doctoral students who wish to elect one of the courses listed above should
obtain written permission to do so (such as via email exchange) from your
academic advisor prior to enrolling.

Masters candidates who need to take a course in Fall 2021 that is not listed
above should consult with their academic advisor for a substitute.

In the meantime, I hope you will all pass your final exams and projects with
flying colors and then enjoy a safe and pleasant summer.

All the best,
Fred
