I am writing to provide you with course scheduling advice for the upcoming Summer session and Fall semester of 2014. As always, you should check with your advisor each semester to confirm that your course selection is in line with your particular program. All EDTC Masters candidates are required to take the following core courses: EDUC 638 Learning Technologies Across the Curricula EDUC 685 Multimedia Literacy Both of these courses are being taught in Fall 2014, and EDUC 685 is also being offered in Summer 2014. From the ed tech specialty, the following courses are being offered in the Fall of 2014: EDUC 611 Introduction to Educational Technology EDUC 656 eLearning In the Summer of 2014, the following ed tech electives are being offered: EDUC 639 Mobile Web Design EDUC 762 Examining Multimodal Literacy Doctoral students who wish to elect one of the courses listed above should obtain written permission to do so (such as via email exchange) from your academic advisor prior to enrolling. Masters candidates who need to take a course in Fall 2014 that is not listed above should consult with their academic advisor for a substitute. In the meantime, I hope you will all pass your final exams and projects with flying colors and then enjoy a pleasant summer. All the best, Fred Dr. Fred T.
