Internet Literacy is a college course
that teaches how to do the Internet. |

In step-by-step tutorials, you learn
the basic Internet services of e-mail, listserv, newsgroups, FTP, chats,
telnet, and the World Wide Web. |

You practice surfing techniques and
search strategies and learn how to download text, images, sounds, video,
data, and software. |

A hands-on tutorial teaches you how to
create Web pages and publish them on the Web. |

You learn how to bring Web pages to
life with multimedia sound and graphics. |

The JPMorgan Pilot
|

During the fall of 2000, 32 JPMorgan
employees were enrolled in the Internet Literacy course. |
|
The course met online, in a virtual
learning environment called Serf® running on the continuing education Web
server at the University of Delaware. |
