The new majors in French/Political
Science, German/Political Science and Spanish/Political Science are intended
to accommodate
students who wish to combine
the study of political science with that of French, German, or Spanish.
Each major calls for 45 credits,
21 in the foreign language and
24 in political science.
Each major requires a semester
abroad on the programs sponsored by Foreign Languages and Literatures in
Paris, Bayreuth, or
Granada (or the equivalent)
, along with work in both departments on the Newark campus. Specific requirements
