One of your group member’s _____th birthday is coming up. You and the rest of your group are meeting to plan on his/her birthday party. Since he/she is from China, you plan to make this party as “Chinese” as possible. In your skit you should cover the following information:
· Time and place of the party
· Who else to invite
· What to do at the party
· Food: what food/drinks should you prepare? Talk about each group member’s dietary preferences and put together a menu/list of foods. Decide on who is going to be responsible for preparing what.
· Gifts：Discuss what to give as birthday present(s)
· How to get the guests to your house. There is at least one guest who will drive but doesn’t know the how to get to the party place. Give him/her the directions.
Please make sure that you have planned on a “Chinese” birthday party. (Incorporate Chinese customs of birthday-celebrating) 。Again, please make sure you have a beginning, middle and end for your skit, and try to make it fun and creative! Dong laoshi might jump in your play and throw in a “twist” here and there, so be prepared to act/respond spontaneously
