This second course of the basic Spanish series at the University of Delaware is designed:

to increase expression (speaking/writing) and comprehension (listening/reading) skills by communicative interaction
to introduce intermediate grammar topics (preterit tense, imperfect tense, direct and indirect object pronouns, present perfect tense and formal commands) and to expand knowledge of vocabulary
to increase awareness of and appreciation for Hispanic cultures of North, Central and South America.
