ELI web page expands its services Web master Lowell Riethmuller continues to update and expand the ELI home page, which now offers more links for students -- past, present and future. Can't wait until next year's newsletter to catch up on news of your former classmates? Now, ELI grads can stay in touch through the Alumni page, which posts news from alumni as well as a partial listing of alumni addresses. For current students seeking that extra piece of advice, the Grammar Hotline has become a popular feature. The service, staffed by ELI tutor Patrick Ruffin, with help from fellow tutor Ken Hyde and ELI teachers Barbara Morris and Lowell Riethmuller, fields several questions a week for everyone to view. Another useful link for current students is the News page, which outlines student activities each week. And, for students looking for extra language learning resources, the Self Access Learning Center has a link off the home page with a listing of CD ROM and other materials. Newcomers can take a Virtual Tour of ELI -- traveling through a photo gallery which covers the whole gamut of student experiences, from arrival day to classes, housing and orientation, student trips and activities and graduation -- before submitting their application online.
