Themes for grouping issues, questions, etc. in Hirsch discussion
Although I have not asked or expected that people would have a chance to coordinate with each other in advance of this week's class on the questions, issues, and discussion points to be raised in class this week, I was asked if I could post the information in the table below.
Rather than beginning with a chapter-by-chapter discussion of the book followed by the Glossary, I think we should start right off discussing your issues and questions arising from the Glossary items grouped under the thematic categories below. Ideas and arguments from the main chapters will be considered in this context. After that we can look back over the main chapters to consider important issues and questions that have not already been covered in our thematically-organized discussion.
