Restoration of the Green landscaping and pavers in is progress; Ceramic tile
installation is complete in the toilet rooms and accessories installation is
in progress; Millwork installation has begun in the Dean's Suite and the
Lobby.
- February 2002
Limestone steps and pavers are complete at the west entrance; Drywall
installation is complete on all floors; Ceramic tile is being installed in
the toilet rooms; Sheet vinyl installation has begun in the labs;
Installation of casework, fume hoods and countertops is complete on all
floors; Final mechanical, electrical and plumbing connections are in
progress on all floors.
- January 2002
Limestone steps are being installed at the west entrance; Ceiling grid is
being installed on the second floor; Casework installation is substantially
complete on the second and third floors; Cleanroom walls and ceiling grid
installation is complete; Final connections for the lab services have begun
on the second floor.
- December 2001
Slate and copper roof is complete; Stucco work is compete at the portico;
Drywall installation is in progress (offices) on the second and third
floors; Painting is in progress on the second and third floors; Installation
of the casework and fume hoods has begun on the second floor.
- November 2001
Stucco work has started on the Portico; Slate and copper is
substantially complete on all elevations except the west elevation; Painting
is in progress on all floors (masonry walls); Rough-in for the laboratory
services is in progress on the second and third floors; Installation of the
first floor clean room is in progress.
- October 2001
Precast installation is complete on the west elevation; Window
installation is complete; Painting of the exterior windows is in progress;
Interior metal studs are complete and gypsum wall board is in progress on
the second floor; Painting has begun on the second floor; Start-up of two
of the AHU's has taken place.
- September 2001
Brick installation is complete on all elevations; Precast
installation is in progress on the west elevation; Hand carved limestone
capitals have been set in place; Slate and copper work continues on the
roof; Window installation is 85% complete; Interior metal stud walls are
complete on the second and third floors; Mechanical and electrical rough-in
continues on all floors.
- August 2001
The copper and slate roof work has begun on the north and east
elevations.
- July 2001
Brickwork is complete on all elevations except the west elevation.
Interior block walls are complete on all floors.
- June 2001
Brickwork continues on the south and north elevations. Interior
block walls are complete on the second and third floors and in progress on
the first floor. Rough-in of the mechanical and electrical systems is in
progress on the second and third floors.
- May 2001
Interior block walls are going up on the second and third floors.
- April 2001
Exterior brickwork has begun on the roof parapet and chimneys.
Rough-in of the mechanical and electrical systems is in progress on the
second floor.
- March 2001
The roof is begun.

The front pillars are put in place!

Steel erection continues; floors begin to be placed.
- December 2000
It's beginning to look like a building now!

Structural steel begins.

Footings and foundations are completed.
