The Delaware Rehabilitation Institute provides an atmosphere where interdisciplinary research merges with education and practice to advance science.
By providing an intellectual hub on the University of Delaware campus for academics, clinicians, scientists, engineers and policy makers, we can collaboratively elevate rehabilitation medicine.
Our pragmatic approach to research in our state-of-the-art facility enables us to take our breakthrough findings from the laboratory to the clinic, where we can give Delaware patients of all ages relevant and effective rehabilitation for injury or disease.
Through our membership in the Delaware Health Sciences Alliance, DRI receives important clinical support from researchers and clinicians at Christiana Care Health System, Thomas Jefferson University and Nemours/A.I. du Pont Hospital for Children. We are poised to become the leading national center for physical rehabilitation research and innovation that promotes wellness.
