Our Collaborative Partners
The College of Health Sciences actively collaborates with faculty across the University of Delaware campus, companies such as those located at the Delaware Technology Park, and with our clinical and academic partners in the region.
The Delaware Health Sciences Alliance (DHSA) is a consortium that promotes collaborations between University of Delaware faculty and our research partners at A.I. Nemours Children’s Hospital in Wilmington, DE; Christiana Care Hospital in Newark, DE; Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Together, this group is working on developing inter-institutional agreements and grant applications that promote translational and clinical research that can benefit our regional patient populations.
The Delaware Health Information Network (DHIN) is a unique resource that contains a wealth of statewide health information. The database contains over 1.4 million patient records and help our Health Service Researchers gain a better understanding of how our regional health care delivery system works and can be improved.
The College of Health Sciences is also developing collaborations with international partners in education and research, including The University of Plymouth (Plymouth, England) and the University of Otago (Otago, New Zealand).
