Prior to serving as a laboratory TA, one must access the Environmental Health and Safety website (http://www.udel.edu/ehs/), click on the "EHS Online Training" icon on the right, and complete the following two training modules: Chemical Hygiene/Right-to-Know Safety Training for Research Personnel and Proper Chemical Waste Disposal Training.  These must be completed satisfactorily in order for you to serve as a TA.  These two training modules should be repeated annually.  

TA’s must also complete the training module entitled: New Graduate Student Orientation-Laboratory Students.  This training module only needs to be completed once.
