Required research training for graduate students, postdoctoral students, and undergraduate students

Prior to conducting laboratory research, students/postdocs should access the Environmental Health and Safety website (http://www.udel.edu/ehs/), click on the "EHS Online Training" icon on the right, and complete the following two training modules: Chemical Hygiene/Right-to-Know Safety Training for Research Personnel and Proper Chemical Waste Disposal Training. These must be completed satisfactorily in order for you to conduct undergraduate research. These two training modules should be repeated annually for all laboratory research students and postdocs.
Students/postdocs should also complete the training module entitled: New Graduate Student Orientation-Laboratory Students. These
One-time training is required for researchers who will use gas cylinders. Annual training is required for hydrofluoric acid, and biannual training is required for anyone who will ship with dry ice. Links to required training modules:
