Aditi Hendi

Charter School of Wilmington class of 2003
High school AP chemistry teacher: Mrs. Pamela Rush

I am still in the process of choosing my colleges but I am looking for colleges with well reputed Pre-Med or Neurobiology programs. I'd like to become a neurosurgeon, most likely specializing in cancerous brain tumors or brain damage. I'd also like to spend some time researching in these two areas as they affect lives of both victims and families profoundly. I still remember the day my friend's mother died from a brain hemorrhage. As of yet there is no cure for either cancer or brain damage. I'm always ready for a new mystery to unravel.

Concord High School
· B.S., Chemistry, Southern Arkansas University
· ACS top high school chemistry teacher (may, 2002)

I consider teaching to be one of the highest callings, and I have found it to be most rewarding and fulfilling. I love having the opportunity to touch the lives of young people. My goal for students who leave my classroom is for them to have gained confidence in their ability to tackle tough subject matter, to know how to approach problems, and to have a spark of interest in them that leads to a lifetime of learning.
