As you can see by Comparison, the teaching degree
actually requires more work then the BS Chemistry degree. Some people may
argue that is, I want to deal with kids. But in this case the extra work
is not worth it. On Average a person getting the BS Chemistry degree will
be out of school in four years. The person getting the education degree
requires a minimum of five years of schooling.
