by Sonja Rivera, David Werner, and Brian Pippin

The question facing America today is where have all the teacher's gone.  With monetary gains and fringe benefits of working in industry luring potential teachers away from the class rooms and into the laboraty, people are wondering just how much benefits are there to working in industry.  The following pages will try to show just how beneficial working in industry can be to a career and to one's family.  Various issues such as salary, benefits and work environment will be taken into consideration to show why students today are not pursuing teaching careers.
