Chemical Warfare Agents
There are six simple
types of chemical agents: choking , blister, tear, vomiting, blood,
and nerve gases. Each can be fatal in sufficient quantities, and
each can be merely an irritant of carefully controlled. They are
listed above by approximate speed of effectiveness; nerve agents can enter
the body by way of the skin, and act extremely fast. Choking gases,
such as phosgene, take about 10 hours from first contact o become effective.
