  • 2010 Recipient of the University of Delaware International Research Award for the project, “Merging Delaware and Italian Chronic Care Research.” - $3,000.
  • 2010 Recipient of the first Edmond J. Safra Philanthropic Foundation Distinguished Scholar in Nursing Award for Outstanding achievement in improving the lives of people living with Parkinson’s disease. Award - $1,000
  • 2009 Nominated for the “Excellence in Undergraduate Academic Advising Award”, University of Delaware, May 27, 2009.
