II. Review of Steering
Committee membership and terms of service: L. Bucher distributed the
roster for Steering Committee indicating terms of service that will
expire December 2008. She also stated that the Executive Council
positions will be open and encouraged all to consider running for an
elected position.
III. Report from Chief
Negotiator: Gerry Turkel distributed a draft of proposals to be
introduced at the first bargaining session. Discussion was entertained
on each issue and modifications were considered. There was no
discussion of salary as we are waiting for national AAUP’s salary
study to be released. Members were asked to hold information
confidential at this point in time.
IV. Future meetings: Next
meeting will most likely be in early March. As much advance notice with
be provided as possible. Dates will alternate between Mondays and
Tuesdays at 2:30 as these were the
most open time slots for the majority of the Steering Committee
members.
