The Review uses a three-tier NET rate structure defined as follows:
Non-profit:  Non-profit advertisers are bona fide non-profit organizations whose advertising material meets the criteria set forth in The Review Cod of Ethics.  This category usually includes charities, public health organizations, and public education.  It excludes campaign ads. $7.00

Local For-Profit:   Local advertisers are those whose sole business is located in: The state Delaware; Cecil County, MD; Salem County, NJ; Delaware County, PA; or Chester County, PA. This category usually includes locally owned retail shops and restaurants and franchises.  It excludes national chains with local stores. $8.00

National For-Profit:  National advertisers are those who do not meet the criteria for non-profit or local rates.  This category includes national chains located on and around The University of Delaware campus. $12.00

Premium Charges:  The Review offers guaranteed back page placement on a first-come-first-serve basis.  Only the back page of Section One is available to advertisers.  Ads can be printed in reverse print (white text on black background) upon request.  These features must be requested when placing ads.  Premium charges are calculated on total ad cost at applicable rate. 10%

Prepaid Discount:   10% off 8 prepaid issues.
First Order Discount: 10% off first insertion for new customers only.
Color Ads:  The Review can run spot color as well as full process color at an additional charge. Full Process Color: $200.00

Spot Color: $100.00 per color up to two

Classified Advertising:
The Review cannot bill classified ads. All classified customers (including display charge account customers) must pre-pay classifieds.

University advertising must be for personal use only – business ads placed by students and staff will be charged at the business rate

Bold: $2.00
Community and Business Advertising: $2.00 per line per insertion date
University Student and Staff Advertising: $1.00 per line per insertion date
Inserts:  The Review will insert pre-printed materials at a minimum of 5,000 inserts.  Space is available on a first-come-first-serve basis, and The Review can accept no more than two inserts per issue.  Please call early to reserve space.  All inserts must arrive at the printer at least 14 days prior to insertion.  Call for printer's address. $75.00 per 1,000

All advertising copy is subject to approval of the advertising director before publication.  The Review strives to publish a quality newspaper with high journalistic standards.  It therefore reserves the right to delete, edit, or cancel any advertisement that does not meet the criteria set forth in The Review Code of Ethics, or include the word "advertisement" in any ad.

* Anonymously placed ads (whether classified or display) will not be accepted.

All advertisisng must be paid in advance, unless the client has an established charge account with The Review.  Credit applications are approved at the discretion of the credit manager.  Charge accounts are payable net 30 days after insertion.  failure to pay accounts in a timely manner will result in a loss of credit priveleges.  The credit manager's decision is final in all matters relating to charge accounts.  All legal resources will be used to collect delinquent accounts.  The Review will not bill P.O. boxes.
