Warrington to play in NFHCA All-Star game
UD senior Amanda Warrington has been selected to play in the NFHCA All-Star game.
8:30 a.m., Oct. 23, 2007--University of Delaware senior Amanda Warrington has been chosen to play in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I All-Star game, which will take place at 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, at the University of Maryland.

A team captain the last two seasons, Warrington has notched 21 goals, 16 assists and 58 points during her standout career. This season, she has four goals and four assists for 12 points.

Warrington was a second team NFHCA All-America selection in 2004, when she scored a career-high 10 goals and added four assists. She also was an All-Colonial Athletic Association first team selection that season, as she helped lead the Fightin' Blue Hens to the conference championship and a berth in the NCAA tournament. A native of Lewes, Del., Warrington is majoring in elementary education with a social studies discipline.

In the all-star game, she will be joined by fellow CAA players Sarah Gostomski of Drexel University, Kim Hedley of the College of William and Mary and Lauren Stefaniak of James Madison University.
