Student ticket limit lifted for Jon Stewart performance
2:56 p.m., Nov. 26, 2007--Students who want to buy more than two tickets for Jon Stewart's Dec. 1 performance at the Bob Carpenter Center can now do so.

Tickets to see Stewart, stand-up comedian and host of Comedy Central's The Daily Show, went on sale in early November at $65 for the general public and $30 for full-time UD students with a two-ticket limit on student tickets. That restriction has now been lifted, so students can purchase as many $30 tickets as they wish. However, seating will be in a different section than previously purchased tickets.

Stewart, an outspoken critic of politicians, especially the Bush administration, and of personality-driven media shows like The O'Reilly Factor with Bill O'Reilly on the Fox News cable TV channel, is co-writer, producer and host of The Daily Show. He hosted the 2006 Academy Awards and is slated to host again in 2008.

He started his career as a stand-up comedian, but branched out to television, hosting Short Attention Span Theater for Comedy Central and The Jon Stewart Show and You Wrote it, You Watch it for MTV.

Stewart's appearance is sponsored by SCPAB, UD's Student Centers Programming Advisory Board. For more information, visit [www.scpab.com].
