2:47 p.m., Nov. 14, 2007--The UD community has until Friday to purchase tickets to see “An Evening with Jon Stewart,” host of Comedy Central's The Daily Show, before advertisements begin appearing in Wilmington and Philadelphia newspapers.

The show, sponsored by SCPAB, UD's Student Centers Programming Advisory Board, is slated for Saturday, Dec. 1, at the Bob Carpenter Center.

Tickets went on sale Nov. 8 for those with UD ID and Nov. 12 for the general public, but regional advertising doesn't begin until Friday, Nov. 16.

Tickets, on sale at campus box offices, are $30 for UD full-time students with ID and $65 for part-time students, faculty and staff.

Alexander Keen, program coordinator with UD Student Centers, sponsor of Stewart's appearance, said “We want to give students and staff one more crack at getting a good seat before his [Stewart's] fans in Philly and Wilmington scoop them up.”
