
Sponsored by the brothers of UD's Xi Mu chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, this year's Amerifest includes three different musical events: Henstock, the Sponsored Artists' Concert and the American Music Recital.
Henstock takes place from 5-9 p.m., Friday, May 2, on the North Green, and will feature the bands Murder by the Groove, One-Armed Bandits, Mad Sweet Pangs, Jared Weintraub and The Blend. If it rains, Henstock will be held in the Carpenter Sports Building.
The Sponsored Artists' Concert starts at noon, Saturday, May 3, in the Loudis Recital Hall of the Amy E. duPont Music Building and features on-campus ensembles, including the Badinage Quintet, Shades of Brass, Big Bruiser Quartet, Blue Hen Horn Club, Adam Baumol and the D-Sharps.
The American Music Recital takes place after the Sponsored Artists' Concert at 3 p.m., Saturday, May 3, in the Amy E. duPont Music Building, and features the brothers of the Xi Mu Chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
