’Rocket Man’ Elton John rocks The Bob
4:33 p.m., March 11, 2008--From "Crocodile Rock" to "Candle in the Wind," Sir Elton John had the sold-out audience on its feet at the Bob Carpenter Center in Newark during his 2 1/2-hour concert Monday night.

The rock legend came to Delaware to complete his mission to perform in all 50 states. He has scheduled concerts in Vermont and Alaska later this year.

Sir Elton has sold more than 200 million records and continues to add innovative work to his personal repertoire of 29 consecutive Top 40 hits, 35 gold and 25 platinum albums. Rocket Man-Number Ones, released last March, debuted in the top 10 and features newly compiled and digitally mastered greatest hits spanning the first three decades of the singer-songwriter's career.
