Grant, a member of the Rochester Rattlers and one of the league's top attackmen, will play for the Eastern Conference squad in the annual game, which will begin at 12:30 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPN2.

A native of Peterborough, Ontario, Grant was a UD All-America in 1998 and 1999 and was inducted into the UD Athletics Hall of Fame in 2005. In 1999, he led the Fightin' Blue Hens to the NCAA Division I championship tournament quarterfinals under Head Coach Bob Shillinglaw, recording 110 points on 56 goals and 54 assists. Grant, who has played in the all-star game on two other occasions, leads the MLL in points (31) and goals (22) this season. He had a big performance on June 16 against the Denver Outlaws when he tied a league record for points with 14, and tied a Rochester franchise record for goals with eight. He led the short-handed Rattlers to a 27-26 victory in the highest scoring game in league history. Grant is one of the league's all-time leading scorers, with 112 goals in 42 career games.
