Faculty, staff language program registration ends Feb. 21

4:27 p.m., Feb. 12, 2008--The University of Delaware Faculty and Staff Foreign Language Program encourages members of the campus community to brush up on Chinese, German, Italian or Spanish in classes that will be offered beginning the week of Feb. 25 and that will run through the week of May 12.

Classes are open to all full-time UD faculty, professionals, staff and their spouses. Neither graduate nor undergraduate students are eligible to participate in the program.

Classes will meet from 5:15-7:30 p.m.:

  • Chinese 1 will be offered Tuesdays in 222 Gore Hall by Maria Tu;
  • German 1 will be offered Mondays in 115 Gore Hall by Ester Riehl;
  • Italian 2 will be offered Tuesdays in 320 Gore Hall by Vincenza Pastecchi; and
  • Spanish 2 will be offered Wednesdays in 304 Gore Hall by Aurelia Rio.

Class size is limited to 20 people and registration will take place on a first-come, first-served basis, closing at 5 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 21. To register, complete the online registration form at [http://international.udel.edu/projects/fslp/registration.html].
