Talk by Feminists for Life leader Tuesday

2:11 p.m., Sept. 28, 2006--Serrin Foster, president of Feminists for Life of America, will speak on “The Feminist Case Against Abortion” at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 3, in 115 Purnell Hall. A reception will follow the event.

The free public event is sponsored at UD by the Pro-Life Vanguard, Catholic Scholars, College Republicans, Orthodox Christian Fellowship, Inter-Varsity Christian Fellowship, Warriors for Christ and Coptic Orthodox Christian Fellowship.

A spokesperson for pro-life feminism, Foster appeared on a CNN International discussion of the abortion ship Aurora in 2001 and on C-SPAN's “The Politics of Abortion” in 1996.

According to its web site, [www.feministsforlife.org], Feminists for Life of America, is nonsectarian, nonpartisan, grassroots organization whose “efforts are shaped by the core feminist values of justice, nondiscrimination and nonviolence.”
