Blue Hens men’s soccer ties, remains unbeaten

9:39 a.m., Sept. 11, 2006--The University of Delaware's men's soccer team tied George Washington University 0-0 on Saturday afternoon at Mount Vernon field in Washington, D.C., to run its record to 2-0-1. The Fightin' Blue Hens are undefeated after three games for the first time since 1985.

Sophomore goalkeeper Taylor Thames had five saves for his sixth career shutout and Sobhan Tadjalli led the Hens with four shots. The game was scoreless after regulation and through two overtime periods.

The Hens will return to action on Wednesday when they face the U.S. Naval Academy at 7 p.m. at Delaware Mini-Stadium.
