Chinese kung fu demonstration set Wednesday

3:14 p.m., Sept. 11, 2006--Shi De Li, the world-renowned Shaolin Temple Abbott, will give a public Chinese kung fu demonstration and lecture at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 13, in 217 Gore Hall.

Li will discuss the 1500-year history of the martial art and will talk about its relationship to other areas of Chinese culture, including Zen Buddhism.

The event and reception afterwards is sponsored by UD's Department of Health, Nutrition and Exercise Sciences and is free and open to the University community. For more information, call (302) 831-3030.
