UD Heart Walk Team assisted by restaurant 11:12 a.m., Sept. 5, 2006--The University of Delaware Heart Walk team continues to make preparations for the annual American Heart Association event scheduled Sunday, Sept. 10. As part of the fund-raising effort, the California Tortilla restaurant on Main Street has agreed to assist the UD Heart Walk team. On Wednesday, Sept. 6, the restaurant will donate 25 percent of the proceeds from orders they receive at both lunch and dinner when a patron says "heart" at the time they place their order. This includes orders phoned in for take-out. The restaurant effort is being promoted by UD's Nutrition and Dietetics Club. |
