Baltimore-area alumni to hear UD Chorale Oct. 27

3:26 p.m., Sept. 29, 2006--Join friends and fellow alumni as the Baltimore area UD Alumni Club presents an evening with the University of Delaware Chorale, from 6-8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 27, in the Center Club Harbor Room on the 16th floor of the Legg Mason Building, at 100 Light St. in Baltimore's Inner Harbor.

The chorale is comprised of 60 students led by Paul D. Head, associate professor of music. Under his direction, the chorale has received widespread acclaim. In 2005, it was selected to perform for more than 10,000 choir directors from around the world at the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) national conference. Recent tours have taken them throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, as well as to Scotland, France, Germany and Austria.

Beverages and light hors d'oeuvres will be served before the chorale performs at 7 p.m.
