Spanish chef to visit UD dining halls Oct. 9, 10
2:40 p.m., Sept. 27, 2006--Juame Pujol Guixe, a chef from Spain, will prepare dinners in the Pencader and Russell dining halls on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 9 and 10. Guixe is coming to UD as part of ARAMARK's 12th annual International Guest Chef Exchange, a program designed to honor the company's finest chefs via a multinational culinary exchange. As chef for the Hotel Monestir De Les Avellanes in Os De Balaguer, Spain, Guixe has competed in many culinary competitions while pursuing a degree in hotel management. ARAMARK has chosen only 26 chefs from North America, South America, Europe and Asia to participate in the exchange this year. |
