MS-Bike to the Bay fund-raiser set Sept. 30-Oct. 1
3:45 p.m., Sept. 19, 2006--The University Derailleurs, composed of employees, students, alumni and friends of UD, will participate for the 14th year in the MS-Bike to the Bay, Saturday-Sunday, Sept. 30-Oct. 1, from Dover to Dewey Beach and back. Over the past 13 years, a total of 200 Derailleurs team members have raised more than $54,200, and this year's goal is $8,000. Pledges and donations are welcome, and interested bike riders are invited to join the team. The team will be riding in honor of Althea McDowell, former program coordinator of the Americans with Disabilities Act program at UD.
