Webcams offer varied campus views

One of the webcams on campus provides a view of Mentors' Circle from atop Memorial Hall that is updated every 5 seconds.

12:17 p.m., Oct. 11, 2006--Three webcams installed around UD's Newark campus, as well as one installed at the Roosevelt Inlet in southern Delaware, offer University views 24/7 to the curious and web-savvy who enjoy watching remote perspectives on life as it happens.

On the Newark campus, footage from the two webcams located atop Memorial Hall (one trained on the South Green and the other on Mentors' Circle) can be accessed by visiting [www.udel.edu/TheGreen].

Footage capturing the Food Court at the Trabant University Center can be accessed at [http://copland.udel.edu/stu-org/dusc].

In southern Delaware, footage capturing waves and tides at Roosevelt Inlet, via a webcam maintained by UD's College of Marine and Earth Studies, can be accessed at [www.ocean.udel.edu/weather/ri-large.html].
