It’s time to tango, beginning Oct. 29

2:34 p.m., Oct. 26, 2006--For those who are interested in learning to tango, now is the time to take lessons. Deena Burke, associate professor of theatre at UD, and Steve Harding, both accomplished tango dancers, are offering a six-week beginner's tango lesson series from 6-7:30 p.m., Sundays, beginning Oct. 29, in the dance room at the George Wilson Center, 303 New London Rd., Newark.

The cost is $60 for the public and $50 for students with valid ID. Drop-in lessons cost $15, but are not encouraged except for those who have had four or more tango lessons.

To register, send a check made out to Chris Key, who is helping to organize the series, and a copy of student ID if applicable, to Chris Key, P.O. Box 824, Newark, DE 19715.
