Swimming and diving alum reunion Nov. 18

3:25 p.m., Oct. 27, 2006--UD swimming and diving alumni will hold a reunion, Saturday, Nov. 18, at the University with a variety of events.

The day begins with a pregame tailgate get-together before the UD-Villanova football game, with a special tent set up on the football practice fields from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. A block of game tickets has been reserved for swimmers and divers who also will have a chance to watch the pregame induction of swimmer Lee Martin, Class of 1990, into the UD Athletics Hall of Fame.

Other events include a swim and dive meet with UD athletes competing against LaSalle University at noon in the Carpenter Sports Building and a reunion reception from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Courtyard Newark-University of Delaware hotel.

Football game tickets in the swimming and diving reunion block are $19 per person. Cost of the reunion reception is $70 per person, which includes refreshments and heavy hors d 'oeuvres. Admission to the tailgating tent is free.
