9:15 a.m., Oct. 25, 2006--Two University of Delaware students were victims of a home invasion robbery by three armed men at 12:30 a.m., Wednesday, according to a report by Newark Police.

Police said the robbers forced their way into an apartment in the 200 block of Scholar Drive in the University Courtyard complex after one of the victims, both men, answered a knock at the door. Police said one suspect was described as being 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, in his late 20s and with short hair. He was wearing an Ecko hooded sweatshirt. A second suspect was about 6 feet tall and of thin build, was in his mid to late 20s and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt. The third suspect also was wearing a hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Newark Police at 366-7110, ext. 135, or call Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333.
