Campus forum on crime issues set Nov. 2

5:16 p.m., Oct. 30, 2006--A campus forum on crime issues in Newark will be held at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 2, in Multipurpose Room A of the Trabant University Center. The meeting is open to all members of the University community.

The forum will include representatives from the Newark Police Department and UD's Department of Public Safety and Office of Campus Life.

Organized in response to recent crimes near the campus involving University students as victims, the forum is designed to inform the University community about what is being done in the community and steps to insure their own safety.
