Fleecy fabric features YoUDee, UD logo
2:04 p.m., Oct. 26, 2006--Show your school spirit and cozy up with YoUDee with throws, pillows, scarves, vests, tailgate tablecloths, stuff for kids or whatever you choose to create using new official UD fleecy fabric. Blue and yellow, the fabric has a geometric design featuring YoUDee squares, interspaced with UD logo squares. The fleece, made by Fabrique, is 60-inches-wide and costs $11.99 a yard. Panels of fleece fabric also are available. Measuring approximately 60 x 49 inches, the blue and yellow panels feature YoUDee and the UD logo in the center with University of Delaware on the borders and smaller YoUDees in the corners.
Joanne Hodge, manager of Hancock Fabrics, has said both items have been fast sellers and that she has had to reorder the fabrics and is awaiting a new shipment soon. As an added bonus, she said that fleece fabrics are usually on sale during the winter months. Photos by Tyler Jabcobson
