Open broomball night action kicks off Oct. 6

3:36 p.m., Oct. 2, 2006--Three open broomball nights are set for the fall semester for UD students, employees and members of the University community who want to try a competitive sport on ice played without skates.

Games will take place from 10:15 p.m.-midnight Friday nights in the Fred Rust Ice Arena and are set for Oct. 6, Nov. 3 and Dec. 1.

All equipment is provided, but sneakers are required for participants. Cost per player is $5 and can be paid at the information window outside the arena.
