UD’s United Way campaign extended through Dec. 8 4:39 p.m., Nov. 30, 2006--UD officials are extending the deadline for contributions to this year's United Way campaign for another week. The campaign, still $40,000 short of its goal, was to have closed, Friday, Dec. 1, but now UD employees will be able to make contributions online until Friday, Dec. 8. “As of Nov. 30, we had about $135,000 pledged toward a goal of $175,000, and unless the University's employees rally, we will fall far short of our goal for the first time in recent history,” Richie Holland, UD campaign chairperson, said. To make your contribution, access an e-mail that was sent to all UD employees on Nov. 6., from “webmaster” with the subject line, “United Way Campaign.” The e-mail message and link to your pledge form is specific to each employee.
